The General Assembly began with a welcome speech by AYSAD Communications Consultant Turhan Korkmaz. AYSAD Honorary Member İzzet Güven was elected as the Chairman of the Board, and Berk Özbelli and Serkan Selamet were elected as the Board Secretaries.

At the invitation of Chairman İzzet Güven, a moment of silence was observed for Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms. The agenda items were then discussed. The members of the AYSAD Board of Directors, who were invited to the podium, President Fevzi Yıldırım thanked the members attending the General Assembly for their participation and invited AYSAD Secretary General Harun Şimşek to the podium to present AYSAD’s activities for the June 2024-May 2025 period. Following Şimşek’s presentation of AYSAD’s activities during this period, Fevzi Yıldırım and Savaşal Sayın, AYSAD Vice President and ELA Board Member, took the podium. Yıldırım shared elevator export and import figures from the MAİB (Maintenance and Importation Authority), stating the valuable nature of this information. His presentation on the work of ELA, of which they are members, and on developments in Europe and the world also attracted attention. He stated that AYSAD should utilize these channels effectively and that this is possible through MAKFED and ELA. Savaşal Sayın also discussed the work of the committees within ELA, stating that AYSAD is represented on several committees. Following the presentation of the activities, the report prepared by the AYSAD Audit Board on the financial status and activities of the previous period was presented to the attendees by Board member Seyfullah Köksal.
President İzzet Güven presented both the previous period’s activity report and the audit report to the General Assembly, and both reports were unanimously approved.
During the break, a brief tour was taken of the Machinery Hangar AYSAD Management and Training Center, where AYSAD moved at the end of April.
Following the break, the General Assembly continued with the reading of the estimated budget for the next period, which was on the agenda. The budget, presented by AYSAD Accounting Member Rıza Latif, was unanimously approved.
Finally, proposed amendments to the AYSAD constitution were presented by Secretary General Harun Şimşek. The proposed amendments were unanimously approved.
In the final session of the General Assembly, the Chairman of the Council invited those who wished to speak to the podium for the wishes and requests. Former AYSAD presidents Sefa Targıt, Canlift representative Nuri Yılmaz, Nafiz Çavdar, Ali Osman Özdilek, İzzet Güven, and Fevzi Yıldırım took the floor in turn and presented their suggestions for AYSAD’s future activities.
